AJ Chambers are working with a Top 10 Accountancy Practice in London to connect a Partnerships Tax Manager or Assistant Manager with their next opportunity.
We are seeking an individual who is comfortable working proactively and managing their own responsibilities, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues and senior stakeholders. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally.
You will be encouraged to identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and support clients with additional solutions where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supported by senior colleagues and wider team members.
* Work within a specialist partnerships tax team supporting a diverse portfolio of partnership and business clients.
* Gain exposure to clients operating across a range of sectors and structures, with flexibility to develop expertise in preferred market areas.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to requests and maintaining regular communication.
* Manage a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for tax compliance and advisory work, together with billing and risk management processes.
* Support clients on a broad range of complex and varied tax matters, working closely with senior leadership where required.
* Build strong internal networks to support collaboration and career development.
* Coach, mentor, and support the development of junior team members.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* A willingness to learn and continue developing technical and professional skills.
* An interest in partnership taxation, private equity structures, or related specialist tax areas.
* A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA or equivalent).
* Experience within a mixed tax, corporate tax, and/or partnership tax compliance and advisory environment.
* Experience managing client relationships and working with a portfolio of clients.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
