Junior Software Developer - AWS | Node.js | React – Starting Salary of £30,000
Location: Remote – with 1 day a month in London
WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Junior Developer to join a small, agile team working on a cutting-edge online digital platform. You’ll help shape and deliver the technical roadmap, scale existing infrastructure, and help drive innovation across our product offering.
What You’ll Do
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from experienced team members.
* Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in development and production environments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing & Design to build and ship new features.
* Assist in writing and maintaining documentation for internal tools and systems.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and development practices.
What We’re Looking For
* Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
* Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Analytical mindset and creative thinker.
* A strong growth mindset and willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with the ability to interact successfully with team members or occasionally clients by video conferencing and phone as well as face to face, in person.
* Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
* Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL).

- Starting salary of 30,000 salary
