Environmental Compliance Limited (ECL) is a small to medium sized privately owned company which provides a range of environmental consultancy and testing services. The company assists our clients with achieving and maintaining environmental regulatory compliance and personal health and safety compliance within the workplace. Established in 2001, we are now the largest emissions monitoring test house in Wales and among the top 5 in the UK.
Following recent growth in sales and staffing levels, ECL's Finance Officer is now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant to help with the operation of the Finance and company business function at ECL's Head Office in Pontypridd.
The role will involve:
* Processing staff expenses.
* Booking hotels and accommodation as needed.
* Processing of purchase ledger invoices.
* Raising sales invoices.
* Chasing client debtors.
* Maintenance of ECL's in-house client database.
* First point office telephone contact
* General business support tasks
Qualifications/Experience
The ideal candidate must be IT literate in Microsoft word and excel and be able to pay attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to use Sage 50 is desirable but not essential as in-house training will be provided. The applicant must hold a GCSE qualification in maths and English at grade C or above.
This is a part-time role office-based at ECL's head office on Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd reporting directly to the Finance Officer working flexible hours of 20 hours over five days per week. Additional working hours will be required occasionally to cover for the Finance Officer during annual leave and any period of sickness. Flexible hours can be discussed within normal working hours Monday to Friday. Salary of £13,500. Attractive holiday and company pension scheme.
