Business Development Manager
Salary: £55K-£60K + Benefits

Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 1-year sales / business development
* Technical engineering experience
* Proven ability to generate and convert your own sales leads.
* Sales experience of technical products
* Experience with CRM systems
* Experience of CAD / Drawing systems (advantageous)
* Ability to work alone as well as in a team.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
* Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the clients’ requirements.
* Confidence and ability to persuade.
* Solid IT skills (Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint)
* The ability to motivate themselves and others.
* Determined to be successful.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Business acumen, commercial awareness, and interest in developing business.
* Negotiation skills and the ability to make good business decisions.
What will you be doing?
* Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
* Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Maintain and develop relationships with current clients.
* Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients.
* Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends.
* Create sale forecast and actively work towards reaching them.
* Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
* Collaborate with the technical department and sales team to ensure that the requirements are met.
