Job Description
We are partnering with a fast‑growing European investment bank that is looking to hire a Vice President into its Healthcare M&A team in London. The platform has been expanding steadily in Europe and is very active in the mid‑market, advising on sell‑side, buy‑side and capital markets transactions across healthcare services, pharma, medtech and related subsectors.
This is a visible, execution‑heavy role for a VP who wants real ownership on live deals and direct client access within a lean, entrepreneurial team.
The Role:
* Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A mandates in the healthcare sector, from pitch through to closing, managing key workstreams and junior team members.
* Drive valuation, financial modelling and transaction analysis, reviewing and refining materials prepared by associates and analysts.
* Prepare and oversee client‑ready presentations, information memoranda, management presentations and board materials.
* Coordinate due diligence and process management with buyers, sellers, legal counsel and other advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
* Contribute to origination efforts through idea generation, sector insights and ongoing dialogue with corporate and sponsor clients in healthcare.
Candidate Profile:
* Established VP‑level experience in investment banking with a strong focus on M prior healthcare deal exposure is strongly preferred.
* Robust technical background with deep experience in financial modelling, valuation and full‑cycle transaction execution.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and develop analysts and associates, ensuring high‑quality output under tight timelines.
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to management teams and financial sponsors and engaging directly with clients.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a franchise within a growing, mid‑market‑focused investment bank environment.
