WHO:
We are looking for an Assistant F&B Manager. We need someone who’s great with people, knows their food and drink, and can support the leadership of a close-knit team.
THEY SHOULD:
- Be a hands-on manager who leads from the front
- Be knowledgeable about food and drink and good at developing others
- Be personable and engaging
- Have natural rapport and be able to strike up relationships with our guests
- Have an eye for sales and help the manager develop the business
- Encourage a strong working relationship between front of house and kitchen staff
- Be organised, motivated, and able to step in when the manager is away
Abode Canterbury is a stylish, four AA star 72-bedroom boutique hotel on Canterbury High Street, which houses our own restaurant brand, Brasserie ABode.
For commuters, Canterbury East and West train stations are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Service Charge: We pay our team a service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel—every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £115 a month (around £1375 per year) over and above base pay for a full-time employee.
