We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Occupational Therapist to join a supportive Adult Social Care team in a Duty OT role. This is a hybrid position with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, a manageable caseload, and free in-house training offered to locum workers. The team is known for its positive culture, with several locums having remained for 3 years. Role Overview: Office/remote-based duty role Screening incoming OT referrals via initial telephone assessments Ordering minor equipment following screening where appropriate (e.g. toilet frames, commodes) Assessing risk and identifying needs through phone-based contact No routine home visits required, though occasional visits may be necessary if short staffed What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience Recent experience in adult social services (essential) Previous duty OT experience (essential) Strong clinical reasoning and confident in managing telephone-based assessments Ability to work independently and manage a busy duty rota For any further information, please call Malak on Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
