The Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's most historic and values-led property estates.
Following a recent strategic restructure, they are now looking for a Senior Asset Manager to work closely with the Property Director to oversee a substantial and highly diverse mixed sector portfolio. This Senior Asset Manager role is a pivotal hire within their growth plans for
The Opportunity
This is not a conventional asset management role.
The portfolio spans prime London assets, major regional commercial holdings, mixed-use schemes, retail parks, offices, high street retail, and over 1,000 residential units — ranging from city centre apartments to larger portfolio. The estate stretches across London and several key locations in the South West, alongside wider national interests.
The mandate is broad and high impact:
* Driving income and long-term capital performance
* Identifying value-add opportunities across existing leases
* Overseeing refurbishment and repositioning projects
* Enhancing compliance and operational performance
* Working closely with property managers and external advisors
* Supporting place-making and community-focused initiatives
There is significant scope for creativity. The portfolio has depth and stability— but also real opportunity for modernisation, repositioning and strategic asset enhancement.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-profile environment where "plate-spinning" is essential.
What We're Looking For
* MRICS qualified with strong commercial asset management experience
* Exposure to both commercial and residential assets would be ideal
* Solid understanding of Landlord & Tenant matters and property management fundamentals
* Proven track record delivering asset plans, business plans and board-level reporting
* Experience managing refurbishment or repositioning projects
* Strong grasp of compliance, risk management and operational oversight
* London asset management experience is highly desirable for the Senior level
Individuals currently in advisory who are looking to move client-side will be considered, particularly those with strong L&T and Property Management exposure.
Leasing is less transactional here — the tenant base is relatively stable — so strategic asset thinking and value enhancement is more important than pure agency-style deal flow.
Culture & Values
* This organisation is long-term in its outlook and deeply values-driven. Commercial performance is essential — but so too is environmental responsibility, social impact and community enhancement. Sustainability and long-term placemaking are central to decision making.
* This is a role for someone who wants their work to have broader purpose beyond financial return.
* There is significant autonomy, flexibility and trust — but the role requires someone comfortable travelling frequently across the portfolio and being highly visible on assets.
