Electrician
Location: Kingsmead Office, London
Salary: £45,022 - £47,392 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team based in London. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance to tenanted and void properties. The role involves lone working with occasional team work, so initiative is essential. A company van and tools will be provided for business use to enable you to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and test occupied and void properties, completing remedial work to ensure safety and compliance.
2. Complete all paperwork and produce certification related to the work undertaken.
3. Monitor and maintain van stock, keeping tools and equipment in good condition.
Skills and Experience:
1. Qualified to NVQ Level 3, BS5839-1, 18th Edition - 2nd Amendment, BS5839-6, inspection and testing 2391, or equivalent qualification. Candidates currently undertaking these qualifications should mention this in the interview.
2. Knowledge of health and safety legislation application.
3. Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
5. Valid UK driving licence, as the role involves driving a company vehicle.

The role salary is £43,779, with an additional policy allowance of £1,243 per annum, increasing to £46,083 with an allowance of £1,308 after 12 months, subject to performance.
