Overview
We are currently recruiting five EHCP Coordinators to join the Swindon Service for Special Educational Needs, supporting the improvement of outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact service, with roles available for both new EHCP assessments and project-based work supporting the transition to a new case management system.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage statutory assessment and planning processes
* Collaborate with families, providers, and professionals to ensure effective and person-centred support
* Promote strengths-based approaches and support quality assurance and evidence-based decision making
Role Breakdown
* 3 Coordinators will focus on new EHCP assessments
* 2 Coordinators will work on a project basis, managing amendments and supporting system transition
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in SEND, including drafting EHCPs and managing casework
* Strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Fluent in English (as required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act for customer-facing roles)
