Job Purpose:
Plantforce is looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our expanding team of engineers. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team who take pride in delivering a first class service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs as required
* Fault Finding on electrical and hydraulic equipment
* Inspection work for equipment leaving or returning to the depot
* Prepare, test and install plant attachments to machinery
* Carrying out servicing works in line with manufacturers standards.
* General housekeeping of work areas to ensure workshop and external depot are kept to a high standard
Skills and attributes:
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Strong knowledge of plant and construction equipment required
* NVQ in construction plant maintenance
Essential Requirements and qualifications:
* Right to work in the UK
* Full Driving Licence
