We are recruiting for an Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Camberley, that provides advice and accounting solutions to help entrepreneurial and high growth businesses. The firm is open to the level of experience, hence the wide salary range advertised, and we welcome applications from candidates at Semi-Senior to Senior level.
The role is office based, and you will support a manager in providing a varied portfolio of clients with a range of services including statutory accounts, audit, accounting and VAT advice, and self-assessment corporate and personal tax returns.
As Accountant your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns, payroll, corporation tax and personal tax returns, and some audit work
2. Ensure the year end files are complete with back up schedules to support balance sheet figures
3. Handle client enquiries on a day-to-day basis and inform the manager to ensure he is kept fully up to date
4. Ensuring consistent quality over all work
5. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
