We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team. The HR Advisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality, end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR team, this role supports line managers and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies, processes, and systems, enabling a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Lead the full recruitment cycle for Grade A, B and C roles, from job postings and shortlisting to offers and onboarding documentation. Liaise with recruitment agencies where required, including managing POs and vendor forms. Ensure all recruitment documentation is signed off and stored appropriately. Facilitate onboarding experiences, in conjunction with the HR Assistant. Update and maintain the recruitment tracker to reflect real-time status of vacancies and hires. Analyse recruitment data monthly to report against budget, time to hire, and channel performance. Employee Relations (ER) Provide hands-on support to managers with employee relations issues, including documentation, meetings, and note-taking. Work alongside the HRBP to coach and upskill managers in managing people issues effectively and compliantly. Maintain and update ER trackers and ensure accurate case documentation is filed in employee records. Control the Maternity and Paternity leave cases, create letters, support managers in conducting all risk assessments, monitor and record progress on the tracker. Monitor and control the 3-month probationary review process, ensuring reminder invitations/letters are sent out regarding probationary periods, issue employee feedback forms. Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Coordinate and deliver inclusive initiatives, including EDI-themed coffee mornings and virtual events. Drive awareness and participation in volunteering and community programmes. Organising and driving volunteering day for HR and around the business, posting on People First and promoting to all departments. Process all invoices received by HR and report back in line with budget. HR Systems, Payroll & Admin Maintain employee records across HR systems and ensure People First is updated. Respond to employment references and verification requests in line with policy. Support the preparation of monthly payroll exceptions in conjunction with HR Payroll. Process all HR invoices, monitor spend, and support budget tracking. Collate and manage documentation for annual bonus scheme arrangements. Benefits & Wellbeing Promote and manage the employee benefits platform, including uploading content and reporting on engagement. Support with maternity, paternity, and family leave cases, including letters, risk assessments, and tracking. Learning & Development Monitor and track probation reviews, issue reminders and gifts, and update the tracker. Oversee completion of annual appraisals and goal-setting processes. Assist in communicating internal promotions and development milestones via People First. Supporting HR Management with apprenticeship maintenance, manage the portal, submit applications, review the finances. Facilitate and lead the participation at career fairs, including schools, military, neuro diversity. Data & Insights Review and summarise data from exit interviews, feeding back relevant trends to management. Support ad hoc reporting and people data analysis as required. Collate all Employee annual bonus scheme arrangements. Report on the benefit usage Ensure completion of annual goal setting and appraisal completion with managers Requirements Previous HR and Case Management Experience Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns Confident in handling ER matters Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A solution focused, positive approach
