SPACE Computer Aided Design Technician role at Martin Brower UK and Ireland. This is a hybrid role requiring two days in the office. Location: Heywood. Salary: £29,093.66 - £36,367.08 per year. Job type: Full time, Permanent.
Job summary: Develop and create MB SPACE designs based on restaurant demand data using integrated merchandising/space planning software. Manage and optimise new and existing restaurant chambers space by creating SPACE design solutions that reflect the agreed planning principles. Drive profitability through cost effective and optimised SPACE design solutions that mitigate and remove delivery requirements.
This is a hybrid role with working from home and in-office collaboration.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
* Design and development of required back of house chambers that deliver the MB SPACE principles for new and existing restaurants
* Liaise and communicate with all key project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of right first time designs
* Seek opportunities to maximise the potential of every scheme within agreed principles and cost
* Develop a deep understanding of the space, equipment and function of each chamber to ensure you are the subject matter expert
* Stress test all data to ensure schemes are fit for purpose and future proofed, leading to optimised delivery schedules
* Assess ROI opportunities for delivery optimisation — is the benefit greater than the cost
* Ensure all schemes are health and safety compliant and meet all client operational needs
* Maintain product database to ensure 100% product accuracy including weight and dimensions
* Creation and maintenance of site space and capacity database to ensure sites are reviewed and upgraded in line with business requirements
* Build strong relationships with key team members within Restaurant Supply Planners, Technicians and Restaurant Service Managers to generate an aligned approach to space management

Qualifications
Essential knowledge, education, skills and experience
* CAD experience is not essential but beneficial
* Understanding of internal & external collaboration
* Confidence to make design decisions and discuss designs
* Strong written and verbal English skills
