Applications are invited from suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists for a full-time NHS post in the Department of Old Age Psychiatry based in Nottingham.

The Trust has strong academic links with the University of Nottingham and the Institute of Mental Health, home of the Mental Health Research Network hub for East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Join a fully-supported 20-bed mixed-sex functional inpatient ward.
2. Be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of admitted patients.
3. Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
4. Lead the assessment and treatment of patients under your care.
Person Requirements:
* Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
* UK-trained applicants should ideally hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award at the time of interview.
* Non-UK trained applicants must demonstrate evidence of equivalence to the UK CCT.
* Candidates without CCT but with MRCPsych, section 12 approval, and significant old age psychiatry experience may be considered for a fixed-term contract.
* Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
