Main duties of the job
Assess, diagnose, and manage the ongoing primary care of patients with at-risk foot health status (deficiencies in circulatory and neurological supplies and reduced tissue viability); patients with painful gait anomalies (through biomechanical assessment and the prescription/manufacture of appropriate orthoses); and patients with onychocryptosis (through the use of local anaesthetics and surgery).
Manage an identified caseload of patients and undertake all associated communication and liaison with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
* BSc Podiatry (or equivalent, e.g., Diploma in Podiatric Medicine or Overseas qualification with equivalent BSc experience).
* HCPC registration, evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience
* Specialist wound care knowledge in treating and managing high-risk and ulcerated foot.
