Role: Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Days: Monday- Friday
Pay: £85 – £105 DOE
Balfor Education is supporting a Special Educational Needs School with their recruitment for September 2025. Working in partnership with a SEN School in Walsall, we are looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants.
The school is a Primary School catering to pupils with Autism/ASD. The school is committed to providing an inclusive and holistic environment that will enable all members of the school community to attain their full potential through an encouraging and supportive environment.
We are looking for several Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants. You will be working across the various key stages, and will be paramount in ensuring pupils are safe, that they are able to access teaching and learning. You will form positive relationships with the pupils and their parents/carers.
Daily, you will
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis to support teaching and learning
* Will support pupils with creative activities
* Ensure pupils are always safe
* Liaise with class teachers and senior leaders
* Prepare resources tailored to the individual needs of pupils
This is an excellent opportunity for Teaching Assistants, who are looking for a long-term role that will provide you with ample opportunity for development. The school will support candidates who would like to gain additional qualifications, including supporting those candidates who wish to obtain QTS.
To be successful for this role you will
* Have a level 2 or level 3 qualification
* Have proven classroom experience
* Be trained in Makaton or PECS – this is desirable but not essential
* Be friendly and able to always remain calm
* Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to pay for a new check to be done.
