About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and proactive Employment Solicitor to join our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in a permanent role.
The role involves providing legal advice on employment matters, handling ACAS conciliations, supporting Human Resources, and managing Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish, including advocacy at preliminary hearings. There will also be opportunities to engage in strategic projects and policy work.
You will work alongside an experienced Senior Solicitor within a larger team, gaining diverse experience and support for your professional development.
Key skills include excellent communication, analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills, with the ability to manage caseloads independently and work well in a team. Supervisory experience is a plus.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Solicitor admitted for several years or equivalent experience, or Barrister with completed Pupillage and call to the Bar.
* Ability to organize workload and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
* Clear oral and written communication skills.
* Experience overseeing Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion.
