Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about oral health and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties full training will be provided
* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
* Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering support, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
* Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient service.
* Uphold strict adherence to infection control protocols and practice guidelines.
What we are looking for
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
* Must be willing to have Hepatitis B vaccination, DBS (costs covered by the practice) and supply 2 references.

Gaining your qualification in Dental Nursing
We can arrange a place at the dental hospital got the successful candidate to complete their qualification. You would attend Manchester Dental Hospital 1 day per week and it usually takes approximately 18 months to complete the course.
However if you are already part way through a course, we can look at continuing that too
