Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Yeovil
Full-Time or Flexible Days | £ per hour (PAYE) / £ per hour (Umbrella)
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming nursery in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about supporting children’s development in a nurturing environment.
About the Role
1. Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
2. Days: Monday to Friday (flexible days can be accommodated)
3. Setting: Friendly and supportive nursery with strong values and child‑centred practice
4. Start: ASAP (or upon completion of compliance checks)
Key Responsibilities
5. Provide high-quality care and learning experiences aligned with the EYFS
6. Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities
7. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
8. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
9. Support children’s emotional, social, and educational development
10. Work effectively as part of a dedicated early years team
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
11. Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
12. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
13. Right to work in the UK
14. Paediatric First Aid certificate
15. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
16. Recent, referenceable child‑based experience
