Exciting opportunity for a VP or Director - Senior Sales Manager Private Markets with a Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London
This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues on a rolling basis to meet sales targets. Target clients for this role will epass Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.
Key responsibilities
1. Meet annual sales targets of a Senior Salesperson
2. Build a strategic calling plan for a defined universe of targets by building relationships with senior stakeholders at the client/prospect
3. Create a sustainable pipeline to achieve sales targets through highly active calling programme aiming for 100 client interactions per year. This includes meetings, presentations etc. positioning the firm in a positive and differentiating manner.
4. Create and keep relevant, a sales strategy document.
5. Work with business lines and product teams to define and drive execution of innovative solutions and messaging for the segment
6. Position the firm ahead of RFPs and creating value propositions designed to differentiate the organisation
7. Work with the SMEs, RFP team and management for input and support to deliver a quality and differentiating RFP responses and associated sales documents.
8. Raise the profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events to best position The firm's capabilities and keep up-to-date with industry topics and trends.
9. Keep a strong relationship with relevant consultants ensuring they have a positive understanding of the firm's Private Markets capabilities
10. Work alongside internal colleagues to keep up-to-date with the bank's products and services and to ensure your segments' product and service requirements are met in a timely fashion
11. Follow internal and external policies regarding appropriate sales conduct.
12. Close connectivity and working relationship with FIC on mutual prospects

The person:
13. Proven experience gained within the financial services and the firm's industry.
14. Understanding of the global alternatives sector (both Liquid Hedge and illiquid Private Assets)
15. Strong demonstrable sales track record, particularly in the Private Markets
16. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and influencing key global stakeholders.
17. Business entrepreneurship.
18. Expertise in leading and runningplex deals.
19. Market reputation.
20. Ability to work in a transversal andplex environment.
21. Demonstrated delivery of the management principles in your current position people care, client focus, risk aware entrepreneurship, leading by example and innovation.
