An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented Underwriting Operations & Governance Manager to join a dynamic and growing insurance organisation.
This role plays a critical part in supporting the Head of Business Operations and ensuring the smooth running of key functions including underwriting operations, third-party oversight, data governance, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure strong underwriting governance by managing data quality controls and resolving data exceptions.
* Serve as a primary liaison for external audits, coordinating data delivery and addressing audit-related queries.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely business working group packs across IT, outsourcing, and operations.
* Maintain and update all operational policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to the preparation and delivery of operational regulatory reports, supporting compliance and data integrity.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of outsourcing and third-party contracts, including due diligence for established agreements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documents, reports, and board or committee papers.
