Overview
Quest Employment is currently recruiting Reach Truck Drivers for a busy and expanding company based in Swan Valley, Northampton.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking weekend work, weekly pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
Youll be working with insulation boards and building materials in a varied role that combines warehouse tasks with some customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
As a Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include:
* Safely operating a Reach Truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Picking and packing insulation products and building materials
* Loading and unloading goods
* Assisting with trade counter duties and interacting with customers
* Processing basic payments (full training provided)
* Carrying out general warehouse tasks
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Please note: Initial training will take place Monday to Friday during your first week before transitioning to the weekend shift.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
* Hold a valid Reach Truck licence
* Are reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Are comfortable in both warehouse and customer-facing roles
* Have good communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers
* Can work independently as well as part of a team
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail
Previous experience in warehouse, retail, or trade counter environments is beneficial but not essential.
