Job Description

Location: Healix Group, Healix House, Esher Green

We are looking for an experienced and high‑performing Client Director to join our Client Management Team to be based in either our Esher or Bristol office. The role has primary responsibility for a defined portfolio of Healthcare Trust clients and, as a senior leader within the team, will also oversee the portfolio’s most complex and strategically significant relationships.

A core focus of the role is to maintain, develop and enhance the income generated from the client portfolio. This will be achieved through a consultative approach, underpinned by robust data analysis, to evidence and evolve the Healix offering within an increasingly competitive marketplace.

What We're Looking For

* Exceptional client management capability, with a proven track record of driving retention, revenue growth and long‑term strategic value.
* Extensive experience managing large, complex corporate healthcare portfolios, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders.
* Strong technical understanding of the Corporate Healthcare Trust construct, related funding models and operational processes.
* Highly motivated and resilient, with the ability to build, influence and sustain strong professional relationships.
* Commercially astute and forward‑thinking, with the ability to anticipate market trends and client needs.
* Analytical and insight‑driven, able to interpret complex healthcare and claims data to deliver tailored, meaningful insights to varied audiences.

If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge and make a significant impact within a growing healthcare organisation, we'd love to hear from you!

Apply now to join Healix and help shape the future of our business.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:

Client Portfolio Leadership & Relationship Management

* Lead and develop a portfolio of Healix’s most strategic clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, long‑term retention and sustained growth.
* Build and strengthen relationships with key client stakeholders (HR, Finance, Procurement), intermediaries, and Healix partners to support strategic and operational objectives.
* Proactively plan, lead and facilitate client meetings, preparing tailored materials (with Marketing support) that reflect client needs, tone, and strategic priorities.
* Develop deep commercial understanding of each client’s organisation and sector to inform recommendations and strengthen Healix’s strategic positioning.
* Demonstrate capabilities to clients through direct communication, virtual and face‑to‑face meetings, and by representing Healix at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
* Tailor presentations and communications to suit specific audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance, and impact.
* Actively engage in networking during Healix‑hosted events, market events, conferences, trade fairs, and other activities as required.

Commercial, Strategic & Financial Delivery

* Lead the end‑to‑end renewal process for assigned clients, ensuring clear timelines, coordinated stakeholder input, and the delivery of compelling, commercially robust proposals.
* Analyse and interpret client‑level and portfolio‑wide data to generate meaningful insights, enabling strategic recommendations that enhance scheme performance and support wider wellbeing objectives.
* Cultivate strong relationships across the intermediary market, proactively identifying opportunities to drive incremental income and expand Healix’s presence.
* Partner with the Sales Team to strengthen intermediary engagement, support capability discussions, and contribute to new business acquisition.
* Identify, qualify and elevate new business opportunities, ensuring timely referral to the relevant sales channels.
* Lead contractual and commercial discussions, owning client contract negotiations and working closely with legal colleagues to ensure favourable and compliant outcomes.
* Collaborate with Marketing to support targeted campaigns, thought‑leadership initiatives and market positioning activities that reinforce Healix’s competitive standing.
* Apply the SBR‑approved QUIS relationship‑building framework to develop trusted, consultative partnerships, using informed, tactical sales techniques to maximise value.

Internal Collaboration, Leadership & Proposition Development

* Support, mentor and coach colleagues across the Client Management team, helping raise capability, consistency, and commercial awareness to achieve organisational financial targets.
* Capture and channel client insights to the Proposition Development Team, contributing to continuous improvement of Healix’s healthcare trust products and third‑party partner offerings.
* Work collaboratively across internal stakeholders (Clinical, Operations, Data & Pricing, Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and consistent client outcomes.
* Maintain an active understanding of the healthcare landscape, monitoring evolving policies, market dynamics and sector‑specific trends to ensure advice remains relevant and informed.

Governance, Documentation & Market Awareness

* Ensure all client‑related records, contractual documentation and system entries are accurate, comprehensive and up to date, maintaining full compliance with internal processes and governance expectations.
* Stay informed on emerging industry developments, commercial shifts, and changes in healthcare policy that may influence client needs or scheme performance.
* Remain aware of wider political agendas and sector‑specific issues, applying this knowledge to shape client recommendations and strategic discussions.
* Uphold high standards of documentation, communication and process discipline, ensuring traceability, audit readiness, and effective internal knowledge sharing.

About The Company

We offer UK employee healthcare benefits, and travel, medical and security assistance in every corner of the globe. Our purpose is to help people in difficult situations – whether that’s a cancer diagnosis, a need for medical assistance when they’re far from home, or being caught up in conflict or natural disaster. We talk to them, support them, and make sure they get the help they need. If necessary, we’ll pull them out and bring them home.

We’re co‑ordinators and problem‑solvers: experts at navigating the global health and security landscape. Our teams of doctors, nurses, travel and medical co‑ordinators and security experts make sure that your people will be looked after, whatever happens supported by technology designed help individuals, not slot them into a predetermined solution.

We work with governments, broadcasters, NGOs, international corporations, major insurers and more. No two clients are the same: we adapt our services to their needs.

More importantly, we adapt to the practical and human needs of the individuals we protect. Most of us are on the front line; we keep our back office lean. We don’t use scripts, and we don’t time calls. We never lose sight of the fact that we’re dealing with real people.

Company Culture

Instead, we focus on ensuring our highly trained specialists have the space and time they need to be effective. We let them use their initiative to get the job done, because the situations they face often throw up unexpected challenges – and no protocol survives contact with the real world.

Our clients have thousands of employees and customers, at home and abroad, so they need a business big enough to handle any situation. But they chose Healix because they also need an organisation that’s personal enough to care.

Our people are driven to do things in the best way, not the way they have always been done. We work hard, and our efforts are rewarded with great development opportunities and a supportive team spirit.

We want to nurture this friendly and dynamic company culture so that we can continue to attract diverse talent with a breadth of knowledge and world‑class skills. As a part of Healix, you can expect a range of excellent benefits and an environment where people really do care.
