4. Weeks: Term time only, 38 weeks per year

We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our Catering team where you will support the delivery of an efficient and modern customer focused catering service to all students, staff and visitors of the College. You will be predominantly based in our superb coffee shop, therefore barista training is desirable, but not essential, as you will be required to undertake full brand training.
As a Catering Assistant your duties will include:
5. Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers.
6. Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, service and customer care.
7. Ensuring the kitchen, food / service areas and refectory are clean and tidy at all times.
8. Maintaining all refectory facilities and services to ensure customer satisfaction, including the cleaning and replenishment of service counters.
9. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and food safety regulations.
10. Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service, processing sales and cash register operations accurately and efficiently.
We are looking for someone with customer service experience and experience of working in a professional catering environment. You should hold Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or be willing to work towards this.
In addition, you should have good levels of Maths and English and be able to lone work, but also effectively within a team.
