As a B2B Sales Manager at Apogee, you will play a dual role—personally driving high-value sales while also leading a successful sales team. You will be responsible for selling our service-led solutions, all delivered under managed service contracts, directly to senior decision-makers within businesses, including CEOs and board-level stakeholders. This is a hands-on, client-facing role within the B2B sector, where you will also shape sales strategies, coach your team, and ensure revenue targets are exceeded.
Sales Cycle and Experience
Our typical sales cycle—from initial engagement to signed agreement—is around 90 days, so experience managing and progressing longer-term, consultative B2B sales processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct B2B Sales: Personally sell Apogee’s full-service managed solutions to senior business clients, including tailored service wraps and finance-based service contracts.
2. Sales Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing B2B sales team, driving a culture of success, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Strategic Growth: Create and deliver sales strategies that grow market share, enhance customer retention, and increase revenue in the B2B space.
4. Performance Management: Set and monitor ambitious targets, ensuring individual and team objectives are met or exceeded.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build long-term, strategic relationships with key B2B clients and prospects to foster trust and repeat business.
6. Sales Process Improvement: Streamline and optimise the sales process to reduce cycle times and improve conversion rates.
7. Data-Driven Sales: Use CRM platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Radius, SILO) to track KPIs, forecast pipeline, and inform strategic decisions.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, service delivery, and customer success to ensure a consistent and professional client journey.
