Role Purpose (Job Profile):
To provideexpertiseand leadership to the businessfacilitatingbest value procurement time,costand quality imperatives. Working as part of the Direct Procurement team, promote and implement high professional standardsand interacting with multiple stakeholders within the business.
Main Duties:
* Manage a portfolio of suppliers focusing on bothtactical and strategic development.
* Expedite and progress deliveries from suppliers andmaintaintimelyreporting of delivery status of parts outstanding, routinely feeding back status to internal stakeholders.
* Ensure that all aspects of transactional procurement of goods and services for category are achieved.
* Optimise total value being delivered to the race team on time and to the required quality standard.
* Support and motivate theDirect Procurement team to achieve department measures of performance.
* Support and develop continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers that provide best value to the business.
* Rationalise and developsupplier base to those that provide best value to the business.
* Provide procurement leadership to internal stakeholders, using experience and influencing skills where needed.
* Sell the value oftheProcurementfunction to the wider business to drive realisation of commercial opportunities via greater engagement.

* Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications and Experience Level:
* Proven procurement experience working within afast-changingengineering environment.
* Composite procurement experience within a motorsport or automotive background(desirable but not essential).
* At least 5 years procurement experience supported by CIPS qualification (desirable but not essential).
