Finance Business Partner

We're seeking a commercially sharp, strategically minded Finance Business Partner to join our central finance team at Lithia UK. In this role, you'll be central to decision-making, providing insights and challenge that promote profitable growth and business improvement across the group.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you'll play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction. Your responsibilities include translating complex financial data into meaningful insights, partnering with senior stakeholders across finance and operations, and ensuring decisions are based on robust analysis and forward-thinking.
As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
1. Acting as a true business partner, influencing senior stakeholders, and fostering a performance-driven culture through financial understanding.
2. Translating complex data into clear, compelling insights to support decision-making, challenge assumptions, and stimulate debate.
3. Interpreting monthly financials, KPIs, and trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform actions.
4. Supporting the development of business plans and forecasts, analysing financial performance, spotting market trends, and communicating data effectively to influence decisions.
5. Identifying and leading initiatives to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.
6. Championing change and continuous improvement across commercial and financial processes.
Requirements for success:
* A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 2-3+ years post-qualification experience or QBE with relevant exposure.
* Proven business partnering skills, comfortable challenging senior leaders and influencing decisions.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify key performance drivers.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills to turn numbers into narrative.
* Solid experience in management accounts and financial reporting, focused on action and outcomes.
