Robert Half is partnering with a mailing and printing business for a Finance Administration Assistant based in Greenwich/Woolwich area in London.

Finance & Admin Assistant

Greenwich/Woolwich, London

Full-time | 5 DAYS Office-based (with potential to move to 4 days post-probation)

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000

Company Overview

We are a well-established mailing and printing business The business operates primarily across the UK and Europe.

Due to continued growth and workload, they are looking to hire a Admin Assistant to support both the finance function and general office administration.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role supporting finance, HR, and office administration. It’s ideal for someone early in their career (around 1+ year’s experience) who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team and is happy taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Finance

* Processing supplier invoices
* Matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring correct authorisation
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
* Reconciling supplier payments to bank statements

HR & Office Administration

* Maintaining attendance records and holiday planner
* Keeping staff documentation up to date (contracts, starter forms, right-to-work checks)
* Supporting onboarding administration for new starters
* General filing and document management (digital and paper)
* Ordering office supplies and liaising with suppliers
* Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team

Office Environment & Culture

* Long-standing team with strong working relationships

Candidate Profile

Must-have

* 1+ year’s experience in a finance and/or administrative role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working full-time in an office environment

Nice to have

* Experience working in a small or medium-sized business
* Exposure to basic HR administration
