SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Long Term – Manchester

A specialist provision in Manchester is looking for a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and experienced team.
The role:
* Supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs
* Building positive, consistent relationships
* Working within small classes and intervention groups
* Using behaviour support and de-escalation strategies
* Promoting emotional regulation and engagement in learning
We are looking for candidates with experience in:
* SEMH schools or alternative provisions
* Youth work or behaviour mentoring
* Care or support work
* Sports coaching with challenging behaviour
You will be:
* Committed to full-time hours
* Calm, consistent and resilient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
