About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Southampton from after the Easter break. With schemes of work and resources already in place, you will be able to focus on delivering impactful lessons, tracking student progress, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

About the School

The school benefits from modern facilities, including dedicated spaces for vocational subjects such as Health & Social Care, as well as well-equipped classrooms and specialist resources. There is a strong emphasis on preparing students for future careers, with a curriculum designed to link learning to real-life contexts.

A structured pastoral system ensures students are well-supported, while clear behaviour policies help maintain a positive and focused learning environment. The leadership team is experienced and approachable, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, collaboration, and professional development.

Staff benefit from a supportive culture, shared resources, and regular CPD opportunities, making this an excellent environment for both experienced teachers and those looking to further develop their practice.
