Overview
We are currently seeking a Team Manager to play a vital role in ensuring CCP's expanding Independent Living Support Services for young people leaving care in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding counties meet staffing, contractual, legal and audit requirements, providing the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards.
You'll be based mainly at our Cheltenham headquarters, working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend cover if needed. Please note that due to the location of our properties, successful applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. Experience in supporting young people with independent living, and management is essential. A £2,000 welcome bonus is available to any successful external applicant (full details below).

Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of senior support workers, implementing a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people to improve independent living skills.
* Ensure the rota is covered with suitably trained staff and assist with on-call duties shared among managers.
* Deliver high-quality support that meets staffing, contractual, legal, and audit requirements in line with Ofsted Standards.
* Reinforce consistent, positive support across existing and new placements as the service grows (now 20+ properties across 5 counties).
* Lead service development initiatives and contribute to the ongoing growth and quality of CCP’s Independent Living Services.
* Maintain effective supervision and development of the team, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Requirements
* Experience in supporting young people with independent living and management experience is essential.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
* Based mainly in the Cheltenham area with flexibility for travel to Gloucester, Worcester and surrounding areas.
* Commitment to safeguarding and safe recruitment practices. This role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and an enhanced DBS check, paid for by CCP.

Terms and conditions of welcome bonus
* Available only to people who have never previously worked for CCP
* Structured as two payments: 50% after the first successful month and 50% after probation (subject to not working your notice period)
* Payable only for contracted positions, not bank/sessional workers
* We will pay NI and tax so you take home the full amount
