Do you want to make a difference in the lives of people with Motor Neurone Disease? In this rare and pivotal role you would coordinate care for people with MND across the region.
You would also develop the multi-disciplinary service provided by the North Midlands MND Care & Research Network. This centre of excellence was established in 2018.
Our ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of five years’ experience as a registered practitioner, ideally with a background in neurological conditions and / or palliative care.
You must have excellent communication skills to have sensitive discussions and sound organisational skills to provide a high quality coordinated service.
You will also build on excellent links with multiple professionals through inter-agency working to enhance the quality of care provided. You would support the spread of expertise across the region through education and sharing good practice.
The coordinator will facilitate innovative and evidence based practice through professional leadership, service evaluation and compliance with NICE guidelines.
