Sales Negotiator – Estate Agency Location: St Albans Basic Salary: £20,000–£25,000 | OTE: £40,000 We are recruiting a driven and customer-focused Sales Negotiator to join a well-established and reputable Estate Agency in St Albans. The Role As a Sales Negotiator, you will be responsible for managing buyers and sellers through the sales process, delivering excellent customer service, and driving agreed sales. Your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and vendors Acting as a main point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries and providing property information Arranging and conducting property viewings in a professional and engaging manner Highlighting key property features and answering buyer questions during viewings Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers to achieve successful outcomes Advising clients on market conditions, pricing, and current local trends Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient transactions Sharing market knowledge and contributing to overall team performance Working towards individual and branch sales targets and KPIs Providing regular updates and feedback to management The Ideal Candidate You will ideally have: Previous experience in sales, negotiation, or a customer-facing role (estate agency experience preferred but not essential) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Good knowledge of the St Albans property market or a strong willingness to learn Strong organisation and attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Salary & Benefits Basic salary of £20,000–£25,000 (depending on experience) OTE of £40,000 through commission and performance incentives Ongoing training and professional development Supportive, team-focused working environment Clear opportunities for career progression within the business Working Hours Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm Saturdays on a rota basis (with time off in lieu, if applicable) Why Apply?
