Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual grinding machines to produce or repair high-precision components. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings to meet strict quality requirements. Accurately grind parts to extremely tight tolerances (micron/thou level). Prioritise workload effectively to meet production deadlines without compromising on quality. Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Complete all relevant shop floor documentation and ensure consistency between product and paperwork.What You'll Need: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar engineering role. Strong experience with cylindrical, surface, internal, and planetary grinding. Solid understanding of manual machining processes and precision tolerances. Engineering qualifications at Level 2 or Level 3.
