They support independent workshops and dealer groups across the UK, supplying, installing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment including vehicle lifts, compressors, tyre changers, brake testers and more.Known for delivering turnkey solutions, including full MOT bay design and build to DVSA specifications, they also offer planned maintenance, breakdown support, and equipment calibration services. The business continues to grow, with a strong reputation for reliability and service.The Role:As Service Manager, youll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business ensuring service and installation work is delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Youll oversee the office and field-based teams, manage job scheduling, coordinate logistics, and act as a key point of contact for clients.
This is a hands-on, leadership role where youll play a central part in the growth and success of the business.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage daily operations across service, installations, and office functionsSchedule and coordinate workshop equipment installationsPlan and manage PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and emergency breakdown visitsLead and support the office and admin team to ensure smooth internal processesLiaise directly with clients to confirm project details, provide updates, and handle any issuesOversee installation works and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specificationManage logistics and stock coordinationBook in jobs, allocate engineers, and ensure clear communication across all departmentsSupport the overall growth and strategic direction of the businessAbout You:Strong operational background, ideally within garage equipment, automotive services or a related industryExperience managing service teams and coordinating field-based workProven ability to run multiple projects and schedules concurrentlyConfident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teamsOrganised, proactive and commercially awareComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong IT and admin skillsBenefits:Competitive salary: £32,000 £38,000Opportunity to lead and shape the future of a growing businessSupportive and close-knit team cultureLong-term development and progression opportunitiesTPBN1_UKTJ
