Location: Bedford based and working across SDCs sites
This is a full time, permanent position
Overview:
SDC is recruiting for a qualified and experienced plumbing/heating engineer to respond to and resolve defects on a range of completed construction projects, as well as maintain various properties in the Company’s portfolio.
From time-to-time, you may also be involved in overseeing and checking the work of specialist mechanical contractors.
As the sole Plumbing and Heating Engineer for the business, duties will include:
* Attending completed commercial and residential properties to repair and maintain water, heating and drainage systems.
* Work with the project team to identify and diagnose defects and coordinate any specialist sub-contractors.
* Keeping records of time spent and materials purchase.
* Small-scale installation works
* Experience in ventilation and air conditioning systems would be beneficial but not essential
* Liaison with the client team and end users
About You:
* NVQ Level 3 Heating and Ventilation (or equivalent)
* Ideally hold a valid CSCS card
* Have minimum 4 years previous experience.
* Be available to work Monday – Friday, full-time.
* Hold full UK driving license.
