The Role
As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting month‑end reporting and ensuring the integrity of financial information across the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the month‑end close process, including preparing, posting and reviewing journals
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation and timely resolution of items
* Providing detailed analysis and explanations of balance sheet movements
* Supporting internal and external audit processes, including statutory reporting and backing schedules
* Contributing to improvements in financial controls, governance, and reporting processes
* Supporting finance projects, including initiatives to streamline and improve month‑end timelines
* Working closely with wider Finance teams (Controllership and FP&A) to deliver business objectives
* Coaching and supporting an Assistant Management Accountant
What We’re Looking For
* Part‑qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AAT qualified
* Experience in a management accounting or financial reporting environment
* Strong Excel skills (Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable)
* Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* A proactive, team‑focused approach with strong communication skills
