Sharper Consulting Services is looking on behalf of our client in the Scottish Lowlands in their search for an EHO working in the commercial food & safetyteam on a short-term contract basis.Expected contract length 6-12 weeks (Part time or Full time)You will beexperienced in carrying out food safety and food standards inspections, responding to complaints and enquiries. In addition, you willcarry out infectious disease & health and safety investigations and intervention work.Experience and Qualifications:Demonstrate substantial experience in conducting food inspections on behalf of a local authority.Maintain a fully up-to-date competency matrix and engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to stay abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and practices.Hold either a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health with REHIS/EHORB (or equivalent ) registration .Proven experience in the field of environmental health, specifically in food safety inspections.Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing food safety.TPBN1_UKTJ
