Job Title: Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Liverpool or Manchester (North West)
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 basic salary + additional benefits package

The Role
Seeking an experienced Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support high-value projects across mixed-use, retail, industrial, and large-scale remediation sectors. You'll lead cost planning, tendering, and post-contract services, working closely with clients and design teams.
* Deliver full pre- and post-contract cost consultancy across a diverse portfolio
* Prepare feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement strategies, and tender documentation
* Lead valuations, cost reporting, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
* Provide strategic cost advice in client and design team meetings
* Contribute to benchmarking, value engineering, and risk management
* Assess abnormal site conditions and advise on cost impacts
* Support business development and nurture client relationships
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and professional standards
What we're looking for:
* Degree/MSc in Quantity Surveying
* MRICS (preferred) or working towards chartership
* Strong experience in commercial property sectors
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management
