The Opportunity Cpl is working in partnership with an award-winning engineering business in Newry to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join their successful team in a newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a thriving business which has earned a reputation amongst its clients as a partner of choice. Your new role As HR Business Partner you will deliver high-quality HR operational and strategic support across this business aligning HR initiatives with overall business goals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide expert guidance on people-related matters, develop and implement HR strategies, and work with managers to improve organizational performance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Alignment: Partnering with business leaders to understand objectives, challenges, and workforce needs, and translating these into effective HR strategies. HR Expertise: Providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of HR, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and compensation. Employee Relations: Assisting managers in handling complex employee relations issues, such as performance management, attendance, and disciplinary matters. Talent Management: Contributing to recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives to attract and retain top talent. Performance Management: Supporting managers in implementing performance management processes and driving employee performance. Data Analysis: Analysing HR data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and inform decision-making. What youll need to succeed? Strong experience working in a HR BP role working within a fast-paced working environment CIPD Level 5 Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and employees at all levels. Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, job boards, LinkedIn). Understanding of UK and ROI employment law and right-to-work requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments. A self-starter with the ability to anticipate the needs of the team and contribute to HR projects. What's on offer?
