Key Responsibilities Design and develop advanced electrical schematics and control systems Analyse, verify, and optimise electrical designs to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance Generate technical requirements and specifications for electrical systems Capture, document, and maintain electrical schematics to a high standard Select suitable cables and protective devices, considering safety, function, and cost Provide technical input on component selection and system configuration Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams Participate in internal and customer-facing meetings where required Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with ESCO’s engineering procedures Required Qualifications And Skills HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Proven experience in electrical design and system specification Good working knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools Experience in schematic capture and reviewing electrical drawings Strong interpersonal and communication skills A flexible, solutions-oriented engineering approach Desirable Experience in the design of electrical systems for defence or industrial applications Familiarity with Zuken E3 Knowledge of electronics, control systems, or signal processing At ESCO Maritime Solutions, you will join a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment, working on meaningful and technically rewarding projects.
