This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dedicated and supportive team, making a significant contribution to the learning and development of young children in a welcoming and inclusive Reception classroom.Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective EYFS lessons.
* Providing individual and small group support to pupils, assisting with planned learning activities.
* Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation, creating a stimulating learning environment.
* Supporting children's social and emotional development, fostering positive relationships.
* Communicating effectively with the class teacher, support staff, and parents/carers.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of pupil progress.
* Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and curriculum.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3).
