Beccles High School is a vibrant, inclusive community where every student is known, supported and inspired. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant. Since joining Sapientia Education Trust in September 2024, we've embraced a new era, one rooted in ambition, collaboration and student-centred learning.
We offer far more than just academic lessons. Our students benefit from 100 minutes every fortnight of enriching enhancement activities, ranging from sport and the arts to academic extension and community work, alongside a wide array of clubs and societies. These opportunities strengthen relationships and enrich personal development. From next year, after-school academies in football, STEM, and performing arts will add even more depth and ambition to our offer.
Located in a charming Suffolk market town, just 25 minutes from Norwich and near the stunning Broads and coast, we offer a more relaxed way of life, without compromising aspiration. At Beccles High School, we're proud to be shaping brighter futures together.
The Role
You will support students to thrive in the classroom and beyond. You'll work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt resources, encourage independence, and help young people with SEND and vulnerable learners reach their full potential. This is a varied and rewarding role where flexibility, resilience, and teamwork are key — and where every day brings the chance to inspire confidence and shape futures. If you're organised, compassionate, and ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
