We are seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to take overall responsibility for health, safety, and compliance across all business units within our organisation. This is a pivotal role covering sites across London and the South East, ensuring that our teams operate to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As Group Health & Safety Manager, you will lead on health and safety strategy, compliance, and auditing across the company. You will provide expert advice to senior leadership, manage risk, and ensure a proactive safety culture is embedded throughout all sites and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across multiple sites within London and the South East.
Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies, procedures, and best practice.
Lead regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
Provide expert guidance to managers and site teams on all aspects of health and safety.
Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
Investigate incidents and accidents, producing reports and recommending improvements.
Work closely with directors and senior management to align health & safety with company objectives.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role, ideally across multiple sites or business units.
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Experience in auditing, inspections, and risk management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
