Service Care Solutions are looking for 7 Paralegal to help work on the COVID-19 Public Inquiry, you will support the legal team, including solicitors and counsel, by providing essential investigative and legal assistance. This role involves working in a dynamic, high-volume environment, where attention to detail and analytical skills are critical. The position is a agency contract lasting 12 months.Candidate Responsibilities
* Assisting solicitors and Counsel with evidence analysis and management
* Preparing reports, briefing documents, and supporting legal documentation
* Supporting briefing teams on witness evidence collection
* Preparing and reviewing Core Participant documentation
* Cross-checking documents prior to publication and managing redactions
* Liaising closely with legal professionals across investigations
* Providing flexible support within the wider paralegal team to ensure efficient case progression
Candidate Requirements
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical, research, and note-taking skills
* Experience working within a legal environment is essential.
* Strong knowledge of Scots law
