We're working with a leading company in the commercial catering industry who are looking for an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join their team, based in or around Doncaster to cover the North and South of the Yorkshire region.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to take on a varied and rewarding role.
Role Overview
As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen, refrigeration and warewashing equipment across a range of client sites. Your day-to-day duties will include carrying out inspections, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and performing planned preventative maintenance.
You'll also provide technical advice and support to both customers and colleagues, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration and warewashing equipment
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
Deliver excellent customer service and technical support
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a similar Commercial Catering Engineer role
Strong technical knowledge of catering equipment maintenance and repair
Understanding of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Confident communication and customer-facing abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (essential) ie; COMCAT 1-3 & 5 and F Gas
