Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with Indian food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs.
* Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to throughout the kitchen.
* Support catering events by preparing and serving food as needed.
* Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.
Skills
* Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food preparation.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: £8.00-£18.36 per hour
