We are excited to invite you to join PureGym as a US Financial Planning Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead financial planning processes and deliver month-end commercial reporting for our US Operations. With our recent acquisition of over 50 gyms in the US, you will be part of a dynamic commercial finance team dedicated to supporting our growth.
Your Responsibilities
* Own and manage the annual budgeting and periodic reforecast processes
* Enhance the integrated business planning model, ensuring the integrity of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow
* Act as the cashflow expert for the commercial finance function
* Support the internal Capex committee with accurate reporting and analysis
* Partner with the US FD & US Property Team on lease negotiations and estate optimization
* Develop investment feasibility models for new sites and refurbishments
* Track and drive performance of investment projects
* Provide month-end performance analysis to US FD & MD
* Produce the monthly board report for Group and maintain the financial model
* Engage in various ad-hoc business initiatives, providing commercial insights and analytical support
The Person
This role is perfect for an ambitious, high-performing qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) who possesses:
* Demonstrable commercial skills, ideally from an FP&A function or transaction services team
* Strong business partnering abilities, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
* A solid understanding of primary financial statements, particularly cashflow
* Attention to detail and a quick learning ability
* Self-motivation and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A team player attitude with a proactive approach to prioritizing business needs
* Excellent Excel skills and experience with PowerPoint for board presentations
* Experience in multi-site industries like retail or leisure is a plus, but not essential
* Familiarity with multi-dimensional databases (MIS tools) is advantageous, but not required
