Job Introduction
Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team in. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic facilities, including meeting rooms, classrooms, and washrooms. What you’ll do:
* Clean designated areas efficiently and to Sodexo’s high standards while following all company and client policies.
* Use cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely in line with COSHH training and report any faults, hazards, or maintenance issues.
* Ensure proper use of safety signage and maintain cleaning stores and equipment in a tidy, safe, and organised condition.
* Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and provide cover in other areas when required.
* Attend training and team meetings to maintain skills, uphold standards, and support overall service quality.
What you bring:
* Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Understanding of cleaning equipment, materials, and health & safety regulations (including COSHH) is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing all cleaning duties.
